34% is the percentage of times Ryan Howard has struck out this year when he's at the plate. After going 0-2 with 2 Ks this afternoon he now has a grand total of 34Ks in 100 PAs on the year. Basically he's on pace for around 250 Ks on the year...which is great if you're a starting pitcher but not so great if you're the #4 hitter on a playoff team. Howard needs to figure it out and figure it out fast if the Phillies are going to continue to win games.
